| Jura cavers discovered a cave 60 million years |
The cavers had kept the secret for almost a year. Around Arbois, a town in the Jura, a team of cavers have discovered a new cave about 60 million years. This cave has revealed extraordinary treasures including, 15 meters under the ground, a beautiful gallery 200 meters long.
Speleology lovers have long suspected the existence of a cave near Arbois. For many weeks they dug before falling on this marvel, 15 meters deep. This natural treasure has already been described as remarkable. This particular cave is composed of a gallery 200 feet long with a wealth of speleothems, stalactites and stalacmites.
To protect the discovery, the cave will be closed again. It will be accessible only to scientists.
